tx holdem pokergame can be played in the same manner as Omaha, only that the money is shared at the end of the hand. In texas holdempoker, every single player at the table will be first given 4 cards face down. Soon after the players finish a round of betting 3 cards are kept on the table face up (the flop). As soon as the second round of betting is over a 4th card is kept face up over the table (the turn). As soon as the third round of betting is over the last & final card is kept face-up on the table, (the river). After all five community cards are placed face up on the table, the last round of betting occurs and all the players left in the hand show their 4 face-down cards. The one who has the five card combination including two blind cards and three community cards of the highest Hand Ranking wins the hand. In case there is a Qualifying Low ranking five-card combination, half of the bet-money goes to the player with that hand.

Betting starts with the player to the left of the dealer. tx holdem pokergame commonly has forced bets called blinds. Before the dealer finishes distributing the hands, the player immediately to the left of the dealer places the minimum bet and the player to the left of this player the maximum bet. The amount of the blinds is set beforehand and points towards the amount of the bets at the table. A game with a $5 big blind will produce bigger pots compared to a table with a Two dollar big blind. At a $2 table, the small blind is normally One USD while the big blind will be two dollars.

The initial round of betting (when all players get 4 face-down cards) requires a minimum bet equal to at least the amount of the big blind to stay in the hand. The second round of betting following the flop calls for a minimum bet amounting to the big blind. The last two rounds of betting (after the turn and river) need a minimum bet of double the amount in the big blind.

Now the two of you show your facedown cards. Your opponent reveals a straight, 10 through A and wins half the pot with the best high hand. Since you have the best low hand possible, you win the other half of the pot.
